Our Story
Brother Wilmot Ben Yalartai established ALCL Orphanage, Inc in pursuit of his passion to help the poor children and people of his native land, Liberia.
The Ebola epidemic has taken a heartbreaking toll on children of Liberia- stealing away many parents and leaving their children as orphans. Abundant Life Chapel Orphanage opened its doors in 2014 right before the Ebola outbreak in Liberia. They provided a safe home for many children who were now homeless. With a shaky economy, we receive no help from our government to provide physical, emotional as well as educational needs of our children and we depend on generous people who help by sponsoring an orphan every month or give a one time donation.
Today the mission that started in 2014 has evolved with Mercy Manna Global operating as a 501(c)(3) charity organization established to solicit help and donations from around the world to finance ALC, Liberia Orphanage & Scholarship Program as well as reach out to the Vulnerable, Destitute and Disadvantage children and adults as funding allows. Thank You For Being A Part

Sponsor A Child
Most of us take being part of a family for granted. Imagine the HOPE you give a child when someone just like you is willing to say, “I am here for you, I want to sponsor you; I want to adopt you?”

Mission
Our mission is to reach out to the abandoned and destitute children, sharing with them the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ. With this in mind, we provide an ongoing mission to support their needs by providing food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care with an agricultural program in the future and, most of all, helping them find a friend in Jesus Christ. We believe that by doing all of these things we are showing them the true love of Christ. But it does not stop there - due to war, sin and poverty in Liberia, disease, abject poverty and calamity are prevalence in our society today we strive and endeavor to meet the needs of not just the orphans, but the poor, abandoned, disadvantaged and vulnerable men, woman and children of the community so that God’s message can thrive along with his children and the community.
